Anthony studied at the University of Sydney and was awarded the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in 1983 and the Bachelor of Laws in 1987. He became a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1988 and of the High Court of Australia in 1998.

He qualified to practice in his own right in April 1994, but remained at first an employed solicitor. He holds a current unrestricted Practising Certificate. He is a member of the Law Society of NSW and of Australian Lawyers Alliance.

Commercial law was the first focus of Anthony's work experience but since 1997 he has worked mainly in Plaintiff personal injury law including medical negligence, motor vehicle accident, workers compensation, occupiers' liability, product liability, victims compensation and dust diseases.

Anthony has acted for all kinds of litigants including accident victims, divorcing spouses, beneficiaries of deceased estates, motor vehicle insurers, finance companies, publicly listed companies, and Governments both State and Federal. His diverse experience gives him flexibility, objectivity, and skill in successful strategy and tactics.
