Anthony Thurn & Company will advise and represent people who are seeking damages or compensation for injuries suffered in the following areas:

No Win, No Fee

Anthony Thurn & Company will undertake personal injury litigation on a “No Win, No Fee” basis on the following important conditions:
  1. The matter must be within time, that is the statute of limitations for the action in question must not have expired.
  2. There must be good evidence to support the claim, both as to liability and quantum.
  3. The Defendant must either be an insurance company or must be and continue to be indemnified by an insurance company.
  4. Anthony Thurn & Company will not pay for disbursements, the day to day running costs of the matter. These must be financed by the client personally.
Please note that if you are a member of a Trade Union and you suffer an injury at work, you should consult your Union immediately. The Union will refer you to a solicitor on it's panel and will probably pay all disbursements associated with your matter.

Three-Year Limitation Period

Almost all proceedings for damages for a personal injury must be brought within 3 years of the negligence that causes the accident in which you are injured. If you do not commence proceedings within the three year period, you will need the Court’s permission to proceed out of time and this is only granted in special circumstances.
